Who We Are

ABOUT US

Samuelson Cabinets, a family owned and operated business grown right here in the Flathead Valley, was purchased by the Winters family in 1986.  The business has grown and thrived over the past several decades by providing high quality work around the Flathead Valley, Gallatin County, and beyond.

One question often asked is why is it named Samuelson Cabinets when it is owned by the Winters?  Samuelson Cabinets was founded by Jim Samuelson in the 1970’s and later bought by then employee, Jay Winters.  Having already established a strong reputation, the name deserved to live on, representing both quality and reliability.

From father to son, ownership transitioned in 2022 to Chris Winters.  Chris, a Columbia Falls graduate, moved back to the Flathead Valley in 2005 following completion of a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from Montana State University. After being a co-owner for the past few years, he is now the sole owner and is excited for the future of the company.

Samuelson Cabinets currently employs 14 team members in various roles including Laborers, Finishers, CNC Operators and Programmers, Installers, and more.  Each employee plays a vital role in the success of the business by providing quality work each day.  If you have an interest in joining our team, check out our Employment Page for a list of current openings.
